First impressions (Sorry, didn't get the chance to record anything):
I *might* not be the right guy for these pedals. It's too soon to make any sort of conclusive judgement, but so far here's my humble little review:
-Fuzz Bear: I guess I was hoping for more tone bender-ish sounds, but this pedlol is really all about the finnicky and unpredictable fuzz factory-like squeels and oscillation. I couldn't get it to sound like a more gainy tone bender. If it's a case of user error, I'd like to hear from fellow fuzz bear owners about the settings I should try for a somewhat useable/musical fuzz tone
-Haunt: This one can go overboard as well, but there's pleny of useable splatty or gated stuff inthere as well. Which is always kinda nasal and scratchy/thin too though, making it hard to cut throuh in a loud band. I also feel like I could do without the tone switch and one of the controls, the versatility of this pedal isn't what you'd expect from something with that many pots/switches
I don't mean to diss eather, but this just comfirms what I already knew:
-I'm hard to please.
-I'm all about efficiency and straight forwardness, and I'm not so much into glitchy space ship sounds that only sound cool for 5 minutes, when I'm on my own
