They might be thinking for foot control of the knobs. Maybe Juan suggested it.K2000 wrote:Yes, the original does go fully wet, as far as I could tell.
Also, I agree the new box looks great. I dunno why they need two extra big knobs (?) I'd rather have small knobs if that means the knobs are further from the stomp switch (one of my pet peeves now - when you stomp your effect on, and change your settings with your foot because everything's too close together). Meatbox could be an "always on" pedal for some people though.

Digitechrep on Talkbass said the Meatbox and Gonkulator reissues won't be released until Summer NAM. And that's no indication of when they will hit stores

Has anyone used one with a synth? I'm thinking it could add a ton of value to a bass synth board

I used the Mantic Density Hulk quite a bit with a synth. It was bonkers and possibly too much but undeniably warm. I can send you some audio if you care and PM me.BoatRich wrote:Still waiting on these too... I need to know if I should just buy the Mantic.doommeow wrote:Price?! Release date?!?! GIMME!!!

$150 is about what I'd expect. Definitely interested in trying one when I get the chance.
