I recently bought an Acoustic 370, but it has a 2 prong plug. When it works, it's super damn loud and sounds fantastic, unfortunately that isn't always the case.
After like a hour or two of playing it, the sound cut out and I caught a whiff of burning plastic inside so I turned it off immediately. I think it might have something to do with having a 2 prong plug for the outlet. Does this seem like it would be the problem? How easy is it to replace to a 3 prong plug (it's something I want to do anyway). Google ain't helping me with anything.
Does the plug seem like it would be the issue? I really have no clue when it comes to stuff like this.
^ the plug is an easy fix ya should do but probably isn't the issue there, sounds more like something failed inside and 2 prong cord wouldn't cause that, it's more of a shock hazard thing.
If it's making a smell there's a good chance you might be able to spot some discolouration somewhere inside. Even the solder mask can get a bit of a browny colour where the copper etc has gotten a bit toasty. Just watch out for those big caps!
