I haven't seen them since the Devil and God tour in 2007... I was underwhelmed at the time because they had motherfucking Thrice open for them, who, no dis to BN, are, well, thrice the band that BN are in terms of skill and tight playing, also, they had a laser light show and BN literally had one lightbulb hanging above the stage? And I lost one of my Chucks in the moshpit during BN's set and it took 20 minutes to get it back and I stepped in some drunk girl's vomit in my sock feet :grumpy:

They played in my living room once with La Dispute. It was pretty much the best evening of my life. Such volume. Many stacks.
My band from high school played a living room show with Native and La Dispute as well! Probably the same tour. 2008-2009ish?

Yeah! Sargent House posted a thing saying they needed some shows and at the time we lived in a huge house. I said they could play and then walk upstairs and crash, and Cathy emailed me and told me to get in touch with the Native guys.

They ended up having to hit the road early cause of some amp problems, but the La Dispute guys hung out and stayed up all night with us. Fun times.

nice cabs indeed. we played 15 shows or so with BN in the fall so i know their setups well and will be doing a long tour with say anything this summer so i'll know theirs as well. :thumb: as for the BN dates, yep the guitars sounded amazing - a really great combination of mostly the hiwatt with 2 2x12s, one of which was usually angled up to the ceiling and facing away from the crowd because of the sheer volume. loud. as. fuck.

don't worry, i got plenty of great hang time in with everyone.

All of that information was relevant to my life! Hiwatt is insane. Eventually I'll probably wanna own one

I saw that, that you're touring with Say Anything... I regret to inform you that I will not be able to make it... but I will be there in spirit 100%!

They're playing with a string quartet, eh? Pretty cool

My friends in Tiny Moving Parts told me that CEG beat them out for that slot on that tour. Good job Brian. I love those guys but Cymbals is a much better band

When I saw SA last year they weren't using Janice, but we'll see next month ;) Cymbals Eat Guitars is also a kickass band and I'm looking forward to seeing them. I didn't know Tiny Moving Parts almost made the tour! I really dig their music but his voice puts me off and I can't really figure out why haha

But goddamn, Janice cabs are absolutely gorgeous. If I had the funds, I'd be all over a 2x12 and 1x15. They look like one of the coolest cab companies out there rn, especially since Emperor shut down

Maybe the discounted price would make up for the freight costs?

I hadn't ever really listed to these guys, but I love the sound of this track:

Edit: For those into Hum, Matt Talbott recorded this, and I think it has his fingerprints all over it.
