I actually really like it. it's pretty good for a first bass. Took me a while to get past the Squire name but I'm glad I did. :)

Yeah, when i was shopping for a new bass I tried one of those, pretty nice especially for the $$$ but I ended up gettin a Jag bass since me friend got a price cut on it for me. Instead of spending a lot on a new bass after a while, I think you should just upgrade the electronics in it since it plays pretty great. :)

I've always had good experience with Squire basses.

Great bass for the money.

Better quality than many of the CBS era Fenders.

Over time you can upgrade the hardware, pots and pickups to make it even better.

That's funny, I just got one of those too :P

It's actually quite good for the price, my bassist friend says it's good enough to gig with. I've long stopped caring about the Squier name on the headstock, after seeing the crap that comes outta Mexico, playing my Jagmaster, and this thing... Just much better than any MIM Fender I've tried. High-end Squiers FTW. :thumb:

I dunno, the quality of my MIM Jaguar is pretty decent.

Play a MIM Strat (the 400 dollar (or w/e) one) and then play, like, a Vintage Modified or a Classic Player. Bricks will be shat.
