New DFA has been a grower for me. Initially turned off by some things mentioned here but I'm really digging it now. JFK's tone is sick as always, I like the increased synth content, and I'm a sucker for catchy and heavy. Pretty impossible to compete with Your A Woman... imo but I'm sure live these new songs will sound plenty harsh and awesome.

I remember turning 16 and picking up my girlfriend in my first car with a cd player and she immediately wanted to listen to DFA in the car. We didn't go anywhere, just rocked out. DFA 1979 has a special weird place in my heart.
That said, this new album is growing on me. Not in your face gnarly enough though.
