A harmonic percolator with the diodes lifted works fabulously with any instrument. It sounds like natural overdrive but with a nice fuzzy edge.

Ha! I sold my Percolator clone to help pay for the Moog!… Solid list so far…

What about a Tonebender or the like? Also, anybody try out the EQD Park Fuzz Sound yet?

My Mk2 with it isn't inspirational. IT works...but ....so does anything by that standard.

I love mine on keys so much. Also the drive on my moog ring mod is one of my favorite dirt sounds on keyboard.

The MF Drive is supposedly closely related to the built in drive of the Sub 37 although not the same. I'm pretty sure I heard Amos or some other Moog employee say that.

isn't the speaker cranker just a dirty boost? I know the Monarch is sick on the moog, but it is sick on just about anything I hook it up to.

It is indeed just a dirty boost, but it's a fantastic one at that. I occasionally use mine to slightly grit up the base tone of my Twin and then layer other ODs and fuzzes on top of it—it's got a nice way of taming the harshness problem that Twins sometimes have with pedals. It might not be what you're looking for if you want fuzz destruction, but I've also used mine to dirty up my Rhodes and it sounds fucking great.

On that note, this thread made me wonder something—do volume outputs knobs on keys respond in the same way to fuzz pedals as guitars? I'd imagine it'd only apply to analog keys, or more speficially keys with pickups like Rhodes... maybe organs? Anyway... I'd love to hear it if you can get the lowered-volume-knob OD effects of a Fuzz Face with keys. Bet it'd rule.

Probably reflective of my overall guitar-focus and relative keys noobness. I play keys with pedals plenty, but I just have never thought of the volume knob as a potential bit of fun.

Finally yep, TAFM.
