The Who basically drove amp companies to make bigger and louder amps. The Who are the shit.

I didn't even mention John Entwistle. Rotosound strings developed their entire bass product line around his sound. He played Danelectro basses because of they "sounded just like a piano." So Rotosound developed piano-like bass strings to simulate that Dano sound. I believe he collaborated with Sound City/Dallas Arbiter too and of course with Marshall

Unlike Pete, who ditched Sunn amps for Hiwatt completely, John... um... well, if he were alive, John could easily fill in for Stephen O'Malley and it's debateable as to whether anyone would notice.

Actually, they never collaborated with Sound City. The Who bought some of the very first Sound City amps (Both John and Pete), and wanted to have some modifications done to them. Sound City told them that they wouldn't do it, but they then went and found Dallas Arbiter and he decided to work with them, and they became the first artists that basically endorsed Hiwatt.

When an ophthalmic surgeon takes a sclera graft (that is, a small section of the white of your eye) to patch another part of your eye with a hole in it, it needs to be fixed in ethanol.

Decaf is served in the pot with the orange top because orange was Sanka's color. General Foods gave away so many orange tops/pots to promote the brand that after the brand died off restaurants used those pots for decaf, establishing our tradition.
