Hey all! Just got myself a Possessed and was hoping you kind folk could share some of your gems with humble old me!
I'll start! I had a good experience with:
Taste at between 1 and 2 O'clock
Touch at between 10 & 11 O'clock
Smell at 11 O'clock
Hearing and Sight as you need 'em!
Sorry I don't have video of it, but it's a setting I'm trying to remember so I can reproduce it (if there is such a thing with this pedal).
Thanks!

I don't remember what the actual names are right now:
Top left - 1 to 2 o'clock
Top middle - No fucking clue what this knob does anyway who cares
Top right - 9 o'clock. Twist downwards vigorously, or sweep it clockwise and back.
Hearing - It's fucking volume all the way up of course (unity gain for me is around 12)
Bottom right - I don't know what the hell this does either, turn until it sounds right

LOL!
left is like sample size, middle is mod amount or something, right is buffer size, bottom right is blend
even though the middle has something to do with mod, it comes across more like a tone knob IMO. too dark when full left.
I like the left knob slow or fast, can't go wrong. fast choppy glitchy trem is rad. middle knob full right usually, get the full effect. right knob's sweet spot is in between 8~11 o clock IMO. can also get cool dial up sounds when sweeping during effect
full blend for fast settings, half blend for crazier ones so you don't get lost playing

I feel like top left is like, trigger sensitivity, or something like that. Like, the more clockwise you turn it, the more likely you will trigger the pedal. Not sure about middle, and then right does this thing where the extemes kinda sound similar, then you get these weird bleeps and bloops around 8-10 O'clock, then super fast glitching from 11 O'clock going slower as you turn clockwise.
Hearing is volume, and Sight is blend. I've noticed that the top middle and right seem to be interactive.
*edited because I'm an adult that can't tell my left from my right apparently.

This setting plus mode 1 of the CT5 might have just knocked the Possessed off my B/S/T thread.Strange Tales wrote:I don't remember what the actual names are right now:

Re: MASF Possessed: Share your favorite setting!!
In my experience with the Possessed, the knobs work like this (assuming I can explain it clearly):
Top left: Interval of effect. Fully counterclockwise is least common, fully clockwise is effect constantly going.
Top middle: Speed that the effect goes (or glitch speed, if you prefer). One thing I noticed (though I haven't played with it in a while) is that it will cut off the end of the effect the more to the right you turn it, so you'll just get the very first bit of the effect.
Top right: Sample size, at around 9 o'clock it becomes full on computer-just-crashed-playing-a-song glitch, gets kinda weird below it.
And then the other two are mix and volume. Hope this helps others. I learned these functions through playing with it while making noise and having fun. If you have the right cables/connectors, see it yourself by playing your favorite songs through it (preferably songs with few calm parts, i.e. no post-rock/ambient) and adjust the knob. You'll see what I mean.

You reminded me, I made a little recording a while ago of a loop consisting of an EHX Linear Power Booster into the Possessed into the CT5 (which led out of the loop). I got some real cool sounds. Perhaps if there was interest I'd throw it up on soundcloud or something, though it's 15 minutes long and not all of it is good, as I was just dicking around for some of it.Inconuucl wrote:This setting plus mode 1 of the CT5 might have just knocked the Possessed off my B/S/T thread.Strange Tales wrote:I don't remember what the actual names are right now:
