I can't say enough good things about Palomino. They offer cheap prices, small minimums (although with a smaller run the overhead per record is greater) and have a ton of options and are always prompt and helpful. I've had a 7" pressed (and repressed) by them and am waiting on test pressings for a 12" now. Great company for sure. I've heard great things about Musicol and Gotta Groove but I have never used them. Pirates Press and United have lots of horror stories but again, I've never used them personally. Well, I take that back. The Shroud Eater record I copressed was pressed at United, but I didn't handle anything with the pressing plant. That was all Stephen from Red Moth, the other label involved. He likes them.
As far as vinyl colors, the 7" we did is on a shitload of different options (green w/ white and black splatter, coke bottle w/ black swirl, and black for the first pressing and clear w, blue splatter and blue w/ black splatter for the 2nd) and I can't tell a difference in the sound on any of them. Maybe if I had a hi fi system I might. My ears probably suck though.
has anyone here had their music pressed to vinyl?

Hah. Well this is SUPER relevant to my interests as well. We are working on full length number two now and we want to do it up right this time.D.o.S. wrote:I could have sworn that it was WeHuntKings who started this thread.
I might have been high.
I've been told Morphius Records is a good option too.
