MMmm... Good stuff.
Checkout Ready Freddie.

Any Horace Silver fans out there?

Chank, could you kindly post up some Silver jams? Please? I'm too inept for this internet stuff.

This isn't bop at all, but it didn't fit in the death metal thread so...

I've been listening to lots of Stéphane Grapelli and Oscar Peterson.

Oscar Peterson was my favorite pianist for a long time (then came Bill Evans and I've never looked back).

I'll have to check out that link when I have some headphones around.

As far as legit hard bop goes, you'll have to check out Johnny Griffin - blazing fast, always on the verge of losing control...

Yeah, Johnny Griffin's a monster, a real firebreather.

As much as I love his Bop stuff, I love this Post Bop/chamber jazz stuff even more:

Great, will have to check that out chanks!

Been going a little nuts over Herbie Hancock lately. Such a dude.
And Tom Lehrer, but he's not really relevant in this context. Well, not beyond than the fact that he is a dude.
