Yes, one very small, but good aspect of all this is that I too have resolved to buy a pedal from the Dwarfcraft enterprise just to support the goodness in the world (not that what I do matters to anyone, but making more commerce in Eau Clair should be good, no?).

So I want to touch on the mental illness thing because I myself have a mental illness called bipolar disorder. You know, I could use it as a cop out and get disability and actually be on easy street, but I don't. Why? Because I have integrity and refuse to let myself be labeled because of some kind of fucking stupid chemical disorder. I hate this excuse more than anything. There is medication that WILL help people, yet they won't take it. Makes no fucking sense.

I'll tell you this much, if I wasn't on medicine, I'd be in a nut house. That's how bad my shit was.


So on the pedal thing. Regardless of the outcome I'm in Dwarfcrafts corner. Sorry. That's how I feel.

Now I said I'll stay out of it, but honestly the mental illness thing makes me fucking angry. I'm so goddamn tired of hearing shit like this.

I was just a crazy miserable asshole for a little while. I cop to the fact that I used to go after things that weren't important and I shit on a lot of good friendships. I was a prick to domvan and thom and we were bros and I regret that tremendously. I don't know if aen and I were every really bros but I regret being a jerk to him. I fucked up with SKULLSERVANT and I hadn't even started being bros with him. That kindof pisses me off as we both have about a trilly things in common and we could have been sweet bros. I still actually have some of his old noise releases he sold on DFFD or the goatshed or whatever it was whenever that was going on.

I was in a really shitty place and it changed who I am inside. I started doing a lot of drugs, then even worse I stopped doing a lot of drugs. Also I gained like 150lbs. I took that shit out on others and that's not the person I am or the way I was raised. To be fair you guys knew I wasn't an earthly body long before I lost my shit but that's no excuse.

To be 100000000000% honest ive been a member here for almost seven years now and, barring my actual fambly this place was the most constant thing in my life for that whole time. I hate that I shit on it and I regret the way it went down.

Dude, we've all been there. Like I said, I'm bipolar and know what being a nut job is like. Thank God I actively work on it. You are good people and I know you have a good heart as you've shown it. So I'm glad to hear that you've seem to have gotten things together a bit and are taking responsibility for your actions. That's all you can do really. I have a forgiving heart and I'm sure most here do. We love fuzz and each other.


On the mental illness. Yes there are some cases where things don't work out. Trust me, I exhausted a LOT of options myself and went through hell, suicidal bouts, treatment centers, psychologists, being homeless and many other damaging things. I also know that people use it as a fucking excuse to be weak. I know this because I am this and feel sorry for myself at times. It's part of my condition. However, I place great stock in my health, mental and physical so that I can overcome these horrible things I was born with. I'm not saying everyone can, but some people don't even try. Which is sad because they could be so much happier.

For sure. We weren't surprised by any of this. We were hoping that she would be successful and happy with her video game endeavor. But she wasn't/isn't, so here she is. You know the saying "where ever you go, there you are"? That seems to apply to her.

I wish it wasn't happening, but whatever. What I am pissed about is that she is lying to people saying we aren't going to pay her anymore and that we are "enabling" her stalker.

YES! I think we can get JWAR to etch a lovely bald head on a SOMMS. We discontinued it because we are almost out of joysticks and the pricing on the doubled from a few years ago, when we bought them in bulk. I think we have 4 joysticks left after the current batches.

We are also planning on upgrading our synth/oscillator game quite a bit from the SOMMS. But we we a million new designs (actually just 12 at the moment and 4 more for next year) in the works right now, so we have to focus on one thing at a time : )

Honestly, I'm not sure yet. I think we will have to address it at some point. I mean, ass fucking is great, but I do prefer lube...

We aren't going to engage in a long legal battle for sure. She doesn't have any money to get, so what is the point? She also has no qualms screwing people who try to help her, so what is a cease and desist letter going to do? She obviously doesn't care about the legal ramifications (see IRS debt, kickstarter, breach of contract, harassment, etc).

At the end of the day, we want to separate ourselves as much as possible from her shit. That isn't the kind of thing we want to be known for. I think our work stands on its own and this shit will pass. We aren't going to stop building DE:FX at the moment, but we aren't going to build it up anymore either (that means a delay for Dwarfcraft this summer, though!).

Anyway, thanks for all the support. I am trying not to let it consume me, because that isn't who we are. My biggest concern is being able to push through this BS without losing our employees (who are amazing) or our sanity (which is tenuous at times anyway!).
