The pedal you keep selling and buying over and over again

Post by UglyCasanova »

I'm sure there have been a bunch of these threads over the years, but just now, for the very first time, I got serious GAS for a pedal I've already owned and flipped.

So...

What's the pedal you keep flipping and buying over and over?

How many times have you tried to love it?

Has ever given it a second or third try actually resulted in true and eternal love, or do you just never learn?

Why do you keep flipping it, and why do you always feel like you need to give it another go?

Well, I sold my first Ct5 after hearing about the update, and I've got another on the way. I usually just hoard everything though. I even have my cheap first multi effects pedal I got off Craigslist for $40 a solid 10 years ago

SS/BS Year 4545. I bought it once, sold it, bought another one, sold it, then miraculously found my original on bst recently and hopefully won't be an idiot and sell it again.

Every time I sold it was out of necessity to pay bills and such, definitely not related to my love affair with that particular pedal.

The only pedal that I sold and purchased again is the FoxRox Ontron.
Lesson learn, it's a keeper.

I don't regret anything I sold.

I've bought an Aqua puss probably four or five times. Everytime I realize I can't cope with such a short delay time and get rid of it.

Verellen Big Spider. I didn't click with it the first time, but really like it now. :)

I'm on my second Speaker Cranker, and FOURTH El Capistan. This time it's for keeps though, with both I think.
I bought the El Cap on my birthday last year, on vacation for like the most killer price I've ever seen one at, and don't plan on ditching it again.

There are a few others I've bought more than once (Fuck, Dispatch Master, Ghost Echo, Arc Big Green, etc.), but none that I still have.
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

I'll just share the threes. Bought and sold 3 Polytopes, bought 3 Magnetars. I'll hold onto this last Magnetar. To be fair I sold everything a few years ago out of financial necessity. So I have a long list of twos.
