I'm planning on bringing everything to ILFNEM, even some new/unreleased stuff.

Ooh--how do the new toanz compare to the Bloom bypass mod?

That's a pretty obscure mod! I think done it maybe 3 times, and I haven't tried one in years!
It allows for footswitchable low-gain / standard gain...in the lower gain mode, the Bloom knob is bypassed, so you can "pre-set" where you want it in higher/standard gain mode. So that's cool, but...
1) The Algal Bloom without the mod can already get into those low gain tones. So I'd only recommend it if someone's after the footswitchable mode / switching-on-the-fly advantage.
2) I don't think the Bloom Bypass mod is compatible with the new HAB/Strangle mode. Maybe I could get tricky with switching, but I'm pretty sure it'd all but silence that mode.

The new graphic' s been adapted, and I've even got a variation on the graphic specifically for the Bass Bloom that's pretty heavy. I've got some PCB layout work to do, gonna have to take a "day off" to do it.

(If you're waiting on an Algal Bloom & Blend or Bass Bloom, don't fear, it will be brought in line with V2!)
How does V2 sound on bass? We'll find out at ILFNEM...testing there will determine whether Bass Bloom V2 goes production or special order.

I am getting this mod! Cant wait to hear all the new tone goodness this will bring. My algal already gets so many killer tones I am having a hard time imagining more goodness! From subtle to brash, my cup will runneth over!!!

MINE ARRIVED TODAY AND ITS AN ANGRY WONDERUL FUZZ. Seriously though, it covers grounds none of my others do. First in the chain. That's where it's at.

The extra voice choices really shine the brightest when using bass or a lower tuned instrument. It makes a world of difference in the tone and how it physically hits you when you play. It's amazing.

The choke function is like nothing I've ever used before. Every knob goes into how gated, chewy, or velcroy you want the pedal to sound. It can be a massive angry shout or a sputtering thin cathode death. Super fun and absolutely a great addition to an already killer pedal.
