Firstly, congrats Ryan on a super fun thread. I like the spontaneity of it, and the fact that sometimes stuff here is gas that you can do something about and sometimes it is just all over the shop. Like a passing thing, or a burning passion, or an idle dream.

Well, I just had a look at my original post in this thread,

ILFDD: check
BitQuest: check
Frazz Dazzler: check
Hexe Revolver: check
Rainger FX Air Traffic Controller: still at large
Iron Ether Frantabit: still at large
Empress Phaser: still at large

There was something else in my first post but the image is broken and the URL doesn't offer any clues as to what it was.

I'm pretty happy with my pedge there. The ATC is still on my to get list. Frantabit yeah, but less urgently as the sample rate reduction in the BitQuest is super tasty. Empress Phaser has dropped off my list, mostly because I'm on a massive slow sweep phaser binge. I pretty much want everything to sound like Trey Azagthoth. And while I'm sure the Empress would do it, a little overkill when all I'd do is put it on its slowest setting and never change a knob.

Despite winning a P bass recently, I'm still looking at the damn 339 no-F-hole midnight blue Gibson 339 Studio.

And one of my pushers is offering me a payment plan I can't refuse and letting me think about it for 30 days before I have to pull the trigger.

Will I resist?

Stay tuned.

Ordered the 339 no-F-hole-studio with a single bucker.

They're not on Gibson's current product list so figured it was time before they vanished.

Should be pretty easy to find. I remember there was this dude in Mexico who hooked me up with LSDJ, basically getting my copy of the programme onto a blank cart.

GAS has been consuming me lately. I want a ring mod, random waveshape trem and a bitcrusher. Also I've been really into my minimal drone I got last year lately. so, naturally now I want the maximal drone. Can anyone recommend any sweet ring mods, preferably not that expensive

Although not cheap, the Subdecay Vitruvian ring mod has been on my radar for a while now. Definitely want to pick one up.

I think a lot about the Moog Werkstatt lately, I'm trying to find a reason not to buy it...

the vitruvian mod is amazing if you'd want a tracking ring mod for synthy sounds, nothing else really pulls that off.
if you're looking for a more rudimentary type of effect i would look at simpler analog ones though. the big box moogerfooger is my favourite, kind of expensive and cumbersome but worth it.
also the bitquest ring mod mode is really great too, and just as versatile as most dedicated boxes. it would also kill your bitcrusher GAS and the ring mod does some weird modulated rate trem sounds among a million other things.

A used moogerfooger isn't to bad I suppose. I've seen them down to pretty reasonable sums sometimes. I should just get a bitquest actually. Birthday in two weeks, I think it's gonna happen then
