What's wrong with pigtronix? I've got their philosophers tone and its a quirky fun compressor/dirt, and their tremvelope is one of the cooler tremolo pedls that is packed to the gills with features. I been thinking bout their keymaster and would be interested in hearing what's wrong with their products in your opinion.
ive had phil tone on board for 4 years and that aria besides being pink as pink can be its a monster yeah i never got a bad taste about pigtronix either that envelope phaser is at the tiptop of my wants
i was sayin the walrus power was 'spensive but $4500 is too

You ever just get a bad vibe off a whole product line and/or the people that make it? I'll grant that the Keymaster looks useful, but I get skeeved out when I see their stuff and/or watch any demo videos...
Oh and that Jazzmaster? Dude is higher than the collective crowd at Bonnaroo... first off, this is Burgundy Mist...
Dat purple is sweet and all, but calling it BM is an affront... also, four-and-a-half geez would be an okay price if it was unmolested; in it's current state, I'd say he should be happy is someone offered him half that...
I really hate seeing pictures of Jazzmasters and Bass VI, because it's a constant reminder that I'm left-handed and would have to build one from scratch. But those guitars are so damn nice.

I mean it could just be the light/camera playing tricks or the refinish has aged weirdly (although it looks very recent) but that 'burgundy mist' $4.5k jazzy looks EXACTLY like midnight purple. In fact I have never seen another picture of a guitar that looks more like the finish on my midnight purple guitar in person. The only thing fender ever seemed to have put it on for production was the old Jeff Beck strat. I like burgundy mist but the purple is a god-tier colour.

fair enough, I really don't care for the aesthetic of their pedals but think the two pedals I've got of theirs sound top notch. I thought maybe there was some shady business practice going on or something. Yeah the keymaster looks like it will open up all sorts of awesome, and that envelope phaser of theirs Is mighty tempting too.

That is definitely a recent refin... could be Midnight Purple or just some Krylon hue, but if he refinished an original Burgundy Mist Metallic (aka an as-offered custom colour) to anything other than the original, well...
Maybe if there were some neck-off or guard-off pictures...

That’s quarter-assed at best.

Sometimes I take a look at my Gibson SG and think "I could sell this and definitely build a Bass VI from the funds", but then I play the SG for 5 minutes and realize I could never sell that thing. I just love my SG too much to part with it. Well, once the pedal GAS dies down I can finally transfer all that GAS to some custom guitars
Follow leftyfretz on twitter. Some crap there, but lots of gas-inducing stuff as well. Custom is the way to go though. Nelson Instruments makes a mean lefty
