modding a pedal for stereo in's

Post by alexsga »

I have a Zoom G3 that has stereo outs but mono in. Is it possible to mod it for stereo in's?

True stereo in is different than a summing or dual mono input. Most often stuff that has stereo inputs either adds the two inputs together or keeps them separate and has circuitry that effects both inputs

The Zoom MS-100BT has stereo ins and shares a lot of algorithms with the G3. You get summed dual inputs on a lot of the algorithms, and not just dirt and amp sims. You would need quite an extensive redesign in the code base to get the full result that I imagine you're asking for. So even if you could add an input, no.
