I'm using a Liquid Foot Mini, little bit expensive but I'm taking the MIDI route serious and I can do lots of stuff.
Was using a DMC-6D before, it was OK, but so limited.
If you are good at soldering, then you can make your own "strymon multiswitch" for less than $20 in parts.

They stack up really well...when they're in their boxes. Once you take them out they stack ok, but it's just not the same.
