I've got an ADM-1024 and my Roland reverb has the stealth SDE mode (although with four extra bits), so I'm gonna call myself good. Yes, the twin delay tempo stuff makes life easier, but it's more fun to stack dissimilar delays. Like Rob, I'd rather have decent control of the LFO, along with freeze/hold/infinite modes. And why not stereo ins and panning? There are no flying cars yet, but still, it's 2015 for fuck's sake--you can give me a true stereo delay mode.

Yea, I could even see *not* giving stereo if they gave you a real LFO control...but they fucking don't.

You are so stressed about a pedal you don't have to purchase. Breathe, man!

That's not stressed. I'm more just annoyed that they can't seem to get anything right in their retro hotcakes, and then for the next few years I get to hear how "authentic" the shit is.

meh

i'm actually way more interested in that new Korg SDD-3000 stompbox that nobody seems to be buying, with all the filters and weird modulation waveforms and stuff, they didn't really cut out any features from the racks on that one.

Yeah, that one is more my bag if I wanted that particular model. The inclusion of the preamp is a huge deal (as that's so much part of the sound on the old units plus the available headroom).

So if I understand this correctly, Strymon made a comprehensive full featured digital delay with two delay paths that can be used simultaneously...

and neither one of them goes backwards? Did I miss something? Golden ratio, like the only good Pigtronix pedal?

New Strymon pedal to celebrate that new TGP interface?
This must be Strymon's answer to when those Caline delays went on sale for eight bucks.
but what are guitar pedals...really..?

With a remarkably short and chintzy delay length maximum, no less!

I think my main gripe with this is that Strymon can probably add the functionality/features of this pedal (and those of El Cap/Brigadier) into their Timeline through an update but won't reward the customers who already bought the priciest delay to try and get them to buy more of them. The lack of stereo ins is baffling to me too, since all of their pedals have stereo outs...

I feel like these are all good products but aren't fully thought out. All of their $300 pedals either have a favorite switch or a tap tempo but not both even though all of them have multiple operation modes with too many knobs/secondary functions to count. The enclosures they use are among the best in the industry but aren't big enough to actually house what needs to go in/out of them, or the "correct" number of footswitches/knobs. I appreciate the versatility but just like the Timeline I'd like to be able to recall multiple presets.

The secret chord that pleaseth the Lord only requires one shimmer, sir.

Why would anyone need more presets?

Pre ordered. I think it sounds fantastic, I've wanted something to complement my Alter Ego. Glad I held off on buying a Catalinbread Echorec.

The input is stereo, it's just on a TRS jack...
