this is about as uninteresting to me as the Brigadier
no offense anyone. I just think they make much more interesting pedals. To bad it looks so good. And i do actually enjoy some of the sounds, but it's sort of... sub-par for Strymon? too bad it looks so good
ps: btw the ending of the in-depth is super awesome with the pad-like delays.

I like it. If I didn't have a Timeline I might've panic purchased one.
I want to hear some user-made demos and then weigh in on it though, because all of Strymon's demos are a little too clean/ideal for me to properly judge it.
Sometimes I think about replacing the Timeline with their old duo of delays (to go next to my Skreddy Echo, ILFDD, and MF104M) but the Timeline's looper is so important to my setup that I can't think of getting rid of it.
so this sounds great and all, but i was just hoping they'd try something in the pitch shifter realm, i love their pitch shifting (the fucked up sounding ones more so) on the ice and shimmer modes on the timeline/bigsky respectively.
The problem with that era's delays versus what they offer is they aren't trapped in "add some stock modulation" - you can fucking flange a 3-8 second delay for warping cough syruping goodness, and sample and hold that.
And depending on the unit, either destructively or non-destructively toy with the LFO on the buffer (LFO and speed control on the Digi RDS is post-capture, on the Boss DE-200 etc it's pre so much mangling can be had either way).....that is why you own the old ones still.
And the totally fucking miss the boat.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.
I want it! I love Strymon. To me there stuff sounds amazing, especially on bass. Although I tried the Bridadier in guitar and it's gorgeous sounding. I have a Blue Sky on the way right now. I'm becoming a delay whore...

I've got an ADM-1024 and my Roland reverb has the stealth SDE mode (although with four extra bits), so I'm gonna call myself good. Yes, the twin delay tempo stuff makes life easier, but it's more fun to stack dissimilar delays. Like Rob, I'd rather have decent control of the LFO, along with freeze/hold/infinite modes. And why not stereo ins and panning? There are no flying cars yet, but still, it's 2015 for fuck's sake--you can give me a true stereo delay mode.
