So I have a 90's Colorsound wah enclosure that I'm refinishing for fun. It's one of the enclosures that was drilled for wah fuzz and then the second bypass hole was covered. Now I like LEDs on my wahs, so I want to put one on this one. But I want to try something different - I want to put it under the treadle in the second bypass hole and hopefully it will light up under the treadle when it's on.
Any thoughts? It seems like a good idea on paper.
Also, I think I'm going to use a 10mm led. Any reason why I shouldn't? Are they brighter than 5mm leds?

Re: LEDs under a wah treadle?
With the right resistor a 10mm can be insanely bright. So long as the switch is a 3PDT you can wire it for LED indication
