Suggest me mid heavy tone bender

I've yet to find a perfect fuzz. I'm looking for that great raspy textures and kinda velcro-ey sound that COULD REALLY CUTS THROUGH THE MIX. Which clone is good and which MK? Thanks, beautiful dudes!

Be sure to check out the Acid Fuzz Pro mkII, it's one of my favorite tone benders with a very rich sound. I've got one with external bias and a fat switch.

Some tone benders are just fizzy and trebley. I need the mid-rich one. Sometimes I hate my band so much, it's tricky to cut through the mix puts me into endless research hehe

I've got about a dozen or so tone benders, Ghost Effects makes some of the best sounding at a very reasonable price compared to their sonic equivalents like pigdog or Jerms. The Burns Buzzaround is a very versatile tone bender worth looking into, its based on the mkIII...or the Dizzy Tone for a more aggressive take on the same pedal...Jext Telex made a great reproduction of the Dizzy Tone that's going for a great price now. A great mkIII/IV to check out is from Emanating Fist Electronics, Lucifer Rising. It has a very balanced sound and really brings a strong bottom end. I'll have to check out the Ramble Effects Twin Bender, I'm a big fan of tone benders.

I've got a Twin Bender, and dig the ever loving hell out of it. Between the Mk I.V and Mk. II Pro switch, the Fat switch, and the bias knob it has a BROAD range of awesome Bender tones.

I've also got an Analog Man hgwd NKT275 Sun Face, and a BAT LSTR on my board, and in comparison to the other two I'd describe the Twin Bender as fitting your description to a T. It's coarser, ruder, cuts like mad.

I just finished a Tonebender MKIII clone with 2n404 Ge trannys on the weekend. Has a very full tone. Can get nice and dark or fizzy and trebley and everything in between. I love it a lot, but I might be biased.

Hmmm. Mk II Benders always sound a little too thick and muddy to me, not real good at cutting through a mix. Mk 1.5s are better, but if you really, really wanna be heard and you really want 'raspy' I'd be going for a Mk I. As said, Ian at Ghost Effects will make a great Mk I. I'd also recommend Jimmy Behan at Super Electric, who does a GREAT Mk I for $160: https://reverb.com/shop/super-electric-effects

Not a Tone Bender, but sounds like you are describing a Suneater. Here's the description from Fuzzhugger:

"The Suneater blasts out mega-textured chewy, sticky fuzz. The Consume knob takes you from a more classic fuzz roar to wickedly
sticky single notes. There are hints of octave that add to an occasional layered fuzz effect. When cranked, it adds a bit of a lag with
chords, though there are chord-friendly settings."

As for Tone Bender clones, I love the EQD Tone Reaper, which is a MK III design. Both are fuzzes I regret flipping (I had a Velcroar, which the Suneater is based on) and will own again.

The EQD Tone Reaper has a slight upper-mid spike that makes it cut through really well. Unfortunately its the same as the upper-mid spike for the G-100-Ts in my cabinet. But it's pretty great with nearly all other equipment.

I think the EQD tone reaper sounds awesome. Very full with great mids. I watched a million demos and even tried one a couple of times and really loved it. Unfortunately when I bought it it seemed to disagree with my amp and not sound good. (Marshall 2203) However, I think the problem was that I bought it and plugged it in after my board to try it out. There was a boss delay on the board and I suspect that it didn't like that buffer in front of it. Unfortunately I was too dumb to realize that being the potential problem before I returned it. I really want to try it again. Anyway, maybe check that out cause it may be just what you're looking for, even though it's not one of the more hip versions to use as a base. EQD rules though.

I don't know what you consider scooped, but compared to my Sun Face, LSTR, and former bubble font Muff, fuck no. It's like a big fat crunchy midrange cutting machine in comparison. With the Fat switch engaged it's woolier/thicker, but I still wouldn't really call it scooped. At lowish volumes it can sound a little thin and harsh with the Fat switch off, but turn it up loud as hell and amp compression kicks in and the lows fill out some.

Reaper is awesome, but mine is a front of board fuzz
so get another and put it up front!!

I do have an older reaper tho so I think the circuit is different
