Did you play it really loud? Because I definitely think its a record that almost needs to be played really loud. Gotta feel them rhythms.

Although I can totally see why someone wouldn't be into them, I think its a damn same everyone isn't

I still have it kicking around somewhere, but they're basically a less-interesting and less-prolific Acid Mothers Temple.

Probably skip the first track on first listen for the recommendation to really make sense (so start it at 7:42)

But! I'm listening to II now to get another frame of reference and I was actually thinking that the sound a lot like a less kraut-y Cave, who you should listen to as a matter of principle:

So, with the benefit of like 4 years of hindsight (or however long it's actually been), I guess I was just hoping for a band that was more Comets on Fire/AMT-y, which is how The Psychic Paramount were billed to me initially, rather than taking them on their own merits.

Ya dude, that record "Psychic Psummer" is a monster. Highly recommended (you can still get it on CD through important, I think)
