i haven't listened yet but having just been introduced to them by their live show, loving it, buddy of mine who loves them, says it's even better than the first, i'm looking forward to it. :rock:

This is a really bad habit of mine, but I don't use NPR for music ever. Which is a shame, 'cause Metz are super cool. Hope the new record is rad.

As long as it sounds like a band that would've never existed without The Jesus Lizard, It'll probably be chill.

Caught them in Toronto with Protomartyr and Fake Palms. GREAT show. I didn't listen to the streams (intentionally) before the show, but the new songs translated well, live. Maybe it's just me... but I'm picking up on a (cough) Nirvana (cough)-esque vibe to the new stuff...

Anyway, kick-ass, LOUD as fuck, blinding show last night!
