Yes it's amazing and I love it !
If you want to make some kind of tutorial one day... I'd love to be able to make this on a guitar but I'm sure I would mess it up without clear explanations.

Wow thats nice, I've been looking for a nice guitar with no pick guard that I could paint pen all over. Thats really quite amazing thought, kudos.

Re: Let's see your geetar!
Thanks.
...but the silver sparkle one is not a Jazzmaster, it's an upgraded Squier Jagmaster.
And to tell the truth, it's for sale. I need money to finish another Jazzmaster project !
I'll probably put TV Jones pups in this new one (none of my Jazzmasters have the same pups)

Re: Let's see your geetar!
Those mini buckers.. Do they sound good on yours?
I have same-looking ones on my baritone and they are really quiet. Or maybe they are just the wrong frequencies for baritones.
Hope you are really satisfied with yours, that is one beautiful guitar. Would go well with your pope outfit I suppose

damn...you're right about the pope outfit....

they are unusual pickups for sure but mine have plenty of output for me. they're TV Jones Powertrons (the stock models that came with it) and are true to the gretsch sound with better feedback control that the original filtertrons. i've used gretsch's off and on throughout the years so i'm friendly with the tone and know what to expect.
however...i don't like really high output pickups.....or lots of gain on an amp (to todays standards anyway) so my needs my not be good for what you're doing.
going by the way the guitar sounds, i'd think they would make excellent baritone pickups.
thankies..elwd

Re: Let's see your geetar!
I see.
Well my favourites are p-90s and compared to the guitar I have with those on it's like half the volume.
Then again, my baritone is rather cheap so there's probably a lot of difference there.
I too, like getting loud and clean sounds from amps. Clean sounds are noisier than distorted sounds, much better for bangs and crashes.
