Hey guys! So I was thinking about it and it would be so fucking cool if there were black LED's available. Does anyone have any idea where to find any? They could be black light obviously, but the darker, the better. Or hell, does anyone know where to get dark purple ones? That would be awesome.
I'm also curious if anyone knows of a good supplier of 10mm led's.

I think Ryan used 10mm LEDs on the gears Elements. Maybe he's got a line on them?

Re: Black LED's
you can get paint that you can apply to lightbulbs (dip clear leds in) if coloured leds are hard to source.

Ultra Violet are what you want for "black/purple" There may be others that are closer, but I haven't seen any.

Re: Black LED's
I always use the UV LED's, which are about 400 nm light. Just at the hairy edge of your vision. They look great. Tayda sells those in 5 mm, and also have multiple colors of 10 mm LED's for cheap (compared to mouser).
