Thanks Adam! We should have worked one for you into our recent work hey! *smile* I actually have one unfinished box, bare metal, perfectly drilled and cut-out, it's my drill sample.. I could send it to you and you could etch it or finish it in some cool way for yourself and then I'll build it for you.

Nice choice! I'd offer you the white prototype I have here that's in the pics but it uses two different brands of white bar graphs and you can see a very slight difference between them if you look close.. it's not quite perfect enough for prime time but I have more ordered for you! I think the white looks really cool too and it was a surprise a few weeks ago, I didn't know I could get white ones. Thanks again Manuel!

Ok. I've been thinking about this and I want one, I think. I have a couple of question regarding how I want to use it, and if it would be really doable practical.

I want to rout out the empty pickup spot on this crazy guitar.
Image

1) How long do you think it would stay powered via a nine-volt? I was thinking of just adding a compartment.
2) Will it get too hot if enclosed and hurt itself if I do this?
3) Dimensions?

These are cool ideas for sure but the 9V will be a problem.. these analyzers need 300mA of current and they'll devour a 9V battery really fast. It'll get hot too if the back can't breathe.. pretty darn hot.. maybe too hot. The dimensions are about 4.5" long by 2.5" wide by 1.5" deep, it's a 1590B box and the LEDs stick through the front a bit. I'd love to see this in action though, it would look so cool... you could save some size by taking it out of the box and hard wiring it, you'd save a lot of space that way too.. the unboxed dimensions would be about 4" long by 2" wide by .75" deep.

Pay check once a month, that's a tough way to live! *commiserations* No rush buddy, I don't really have a time frame in mind anyway.
