You should definitely email him. He's super quick to respond and super helpful. i bet since he still has the Cat vs Bear he'd add it and charge the same as the monocle.

Triple true. I ordered the "Trapper Keeper" U.S. last weekend, and he responded within a couple of hours, at something like 2:30 a.m., too. Really friendly, pointed me to ILF for tips on usage, and shipped right on time. Now I just have to wait for the mails to catch up... and then maybe think about an expression pedal mod, once I get my head and ears wrapped around the thing...

Heh. Yeah, I feel pretty lucky, I'll admit. If I ever decide to sell it, I'll let you know, although if I do I'm sure it won't be for a while. I'm pretty hot for feedback loops right now. Very exciting.

fitting the EXP into existing USs is gonna be REALLY tough. i moved to the bigger cases because i ran out of room for the normal circuit!

it's most likely not gonna happen. sorry guys.

on another note. i do have a new feature coming to the CCB and i have this new circuit breadboarded right now that is REALLY close to being done. finally!

also, i ordered some ICs about 2 months ago for the new circuit. i finally plopped them on the breadboard and i couldnt figure out why the hell my circuit (which i've been working on for a long time now) sounded all wrong. after checking and double checking i switched out the ICs and it was fine.

so i think they are counterfeit knock offs!

but here's the wierd thing. they're all wrong and fucked up, but in a good way! they have an assload of hiss but do some crazy ass fuzz gatey stuff.

i was thinking of seeing if i could get more from the same source.

kind of odd right? someone rips you off but gives you a better idea? like when you go buy what you think is blow, but is actually exlax. you didn't realize you haven't pooped in a week. unexpected relief!

lol. I'll bet that most awesome things that humans have made or discovered was by accident or because of a mistake.
Any ideas for what you're gonna do with 'em?

here is my one off made by lawrence.
its a special chk chk boom, has two modes, normal operation and fx loop bypass.

havent had much time to really mess with it yet as i'm still in the rebuilding stage of my move, but thought you guys would like to see it. IMO its absolutely beautiful, and i dont think the pic does it justice.

thanks again L!
