Question about CM-2 and power supply

Post by bdunlap »

Alright, thinkin' of going down to ye old music shoppe and picking up a Hardwire CM-2 Overdrive. Sounds pretty good from the clips I've heard, and I love the fact that it has active low and high EQs. Anyone here try one, and if so how does it sound from your perspective? Anyway, on to the real question. Center positive. Shit  . I already took up all the outlets on my brick with big-ass higher voltage adapters for my other pedals. I am aware of the 1Spot positive-to-negative converter, but here's my question- is that gonna have any effect on how the pedal sounds? I'd imagine not, but never hurts to ask. I'd really like to be able to power the center positives in my rig with the 1Spot to save some space.
