My buddy has a blue box, but the 2 octaves down wasn't really punchy enough for what I wanted. Of the options mentioned so far, which are the "loudest"? I've heard the OC-2 goes quite a ways above unity gain and the less I have to turn on at once the better.
Good Deal List: bearbeams, pena_55, sonidero, greyscales, ChetMagongalo, xchristophex, Monkey Boy, krautrocker, osbornkt

octoplus can get plenty loud, you've got separate controls for octave and dry level and both can be set well above unity.

If you want "clean" octave-down and don't mind that it has a bunch of other settings (octave up, two octaves up, two octaves down, and then all the odd steps inbetween) the Mooer Pitch box is a cool little pedal, and it'll do pitch shift, harmonize, and detune.. (From what I recall.. don't have one anymore)

It didn't track chords but it did help me groove some bass lines out on my guitar. :idk:

I made the mistake of not immediately buying a $60 OC2. I'm so pissed.
