Doing it in white like one of my clients that wanted white just so it can show all the wear/tear and grime from touring with it? That's literally what he said when he picked them up. Saying how he couldn't wait to tear them up.

I have the same feeling. My bass player already has a white 2x15 Risson cab that is that way. I am not going to mess them up on purpose but I know it will get there.

Damn dude, turned out great!!!!!
Thanks man. I love building my own cabs. I am going to start copying a few cab designs from Peavey for fun. I really want to make the oversized 4x12 next.
Oh I didn't think you would go out and just trash them immediately. but hell when he told me that I was like... well goddamn I took all that care when I could've just halfassed the tolex? I was just thinking it.
6x12 is almost up and running. I ran into a problem with some vintage V30s I have though. Only 4 mounting holes.... So not sure what I want to do about that yet. SLK what do you think about the spring loaded handles? I see you use them alot. The recessed handles I have seemed very inadequate. Anyways, check it out.

Those recessed handles aren't meant for heavy loads. the heaviest I use them on are the tallboy cabs. and that's mainly cause the center of gravity actually works where there isn't as much strain on them. but if you mount them on that 612 and then use the handles to lift they will pop the fuck out. I always use the steel bar recessed handles for the larger cabs and the standard box 412's
So you are saying the spring loaded ones arent meant for heavy loads? Awesome looking head by the way.

SLK, I was browsing the Mauler fb and noticed that coffin book case. I like it. I would like it more as a pair of 2x12s or a 4x12. What would it cost to make that happen?
