Your Favorite Hip Hop Producers
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, or if this is even the right site, but, hey, its music.
What are some of your favorite hip hop producers (people who produce for rappers/produce their own music they rap over/instrumental hip hop producers)? I've been getting more and more into hip hop and rap lately, and I wanted to see what you guys were into.
Right now I'm listening to a lot of Flying Lotus and Earl Sweatshirt.

off the top of my head: Madlib. Del's stuff is pretty hit or miss but the good stuff is great. Dan the Automator. Blockhead. RZA. Alias lives in/is from my hometown I think so I'll give him a shout out too. Oh, and J Dilla.

Don't think I would normally call Four Tet hip-hop, but this one should be pretty home with the downies.

Produced by the RZA. One of the best 'walk-down-the-street-in-winter-with-headphones-on-and-hood-up' albums ever.Eivind August wrote: Also, GZA - Liquid Swords.

Hi Tek did some awesome stuff with Talib Kweli/Black Star.
POS did a lot of his own beats on Never Better and they're all sweet.
& hate all you want, but Kanye.

For me, hands down, without a doubt, RZA.
