I kinda feel the same way about the Particle.Gone Fission wrote:… maybe that needs a low pass or shelf EQ or something to soften it--I think it came off a bit shrill ...

The blend knob and post-reverb are your friends when it comes to the Particle. Same goes for this, I presume.
I use my Particle to add complexity and background artifacts to my sound, not to completely alter it, even though 100% wet can be fun for in-between-songs sounds. CT5 into 100% Particle in reverse or random mode is pretty funny stuff.

Re: Red Panda - Raster Delay. Who is excited?
my only problem with the particle is that is compresses like crazy. have to put it before dirt if I want to use it with guitar. hope this one doesn't suffer from the same issue
i'm glad i can call you a friend. even if i'll never see you again

That becomes a problem when I like neither blend nor reverb. I'm sure in your hands, you'll make it sound great though.UglyCasanova wrote:The blend knob and post-reverb are your friends when it comes to the Particle. Same goes for this, I presume.

Meh...I must have been expecting so much more I think. Still sorta want one to explore the pitch shifting. Nick found some cool sounds for sure.

Nah. So far not impressed. Kinda like the bitmap, I had HIGH hopes, but was kinda left a little "bleh" after the demos.

I think the ring mod sounds are infinitely cooler than the pitch shifty ones
Not for me, but I have no doubt people will make cool shit with these

Re: Red Panda - Raster Delay. Who is excited?
I'm excited.
The features of the pedal are excellent, and I believe in Red Panda.
If their releases up to this point are any indication, they won't launch a half-baked pedal.
The demo didn't move me either, but I'm optimistic.
When are you getting yours Kent?!!

It's not up for preorder yet, but I hope to move some things before that happens so I can snag one from the first batch! How about you? Are they sending you one?askashrub wrote:When are you getting yours Kent?!!
