The one I have now I had the seller ship directly to Orange County Speaker for a recone after I blew the first one I bought with it loaded in the ported bottom of my Boogie half-back. I fried it within 45 min. of owning it, but fuck those 45 mins were awesome as hell. I was riffing in C# with my P90 loaded LP > Octavio > White Dot NKT275 Sun Face > Tremoverb's clean channel. The cone was pumping like a mother fucker too.
Since the box showed signs of shipping dmg UPS paid the value of the speaker at time of purchase. So though it sucks I lost the original cone on a minty alnico SRO I am getting this one for just the cost of the recone and shipping.
The recone came back a week ago, and to my ears it sounds every bit as good as the original cone one did, the cone looks very similar too, but shinier/glossier.
Here are pics of the 1st near mint one. It's being reconed by a local guy whose done tons of them, he also builds tweed based amps under the name Hurricane, and used to own an electronics repair shop in town before he "retired."

So, for the cab I'm leaning towards...
A) OS diagonal ported 2x12
B) Theile 2x12
C) OS diagonal sealed 2x12 with convertible back.
What do you guys think would take full advantage of these monsters?
I'm going to buy a used table saw, & my buddy has a miter saw, router, and some other wood working tools. So we're going to build this from scratch. I have a very cool idea for the design too if I go with either A or C. B will just look like a big ass 2x12 with a traditional grill cloth.
