Hey guys! I was recently gifted a Zap Machine 2, and I'm super excited to start playing with it; the only problem is as soon as I turn on the pedal I start getting a ridiculous amount of background noise/hum, and my guitar gets ear-piercingly loud. I literally can't turn the level knob on the pedal up past about eight o' clock without completely drowning out the signal of the guitar. Any advice on what could be wrong with the pedal and/or how to fix it?
I've already tried many different 9V power supplies, and am currently using a Voodoo labs supply on my pedalboard.
Thanks in advance!
