What are you using for that warm rotary modulation effects?
Something that doesn't suck your lows.

I've got an ibanez PM7 I like a lot. it's cheap! I also really like Iron Ether's Polytope but it's not cheap at all. Neither suck lows.

Tech 21 Roto Choir is likely to go to BST, though very good at this. I just like the open-endedness of my Doppelganger clone better. I think Ian/Gigahearts FX may still have his most recent groupbuy for fabbed PCBs open at the Madbean forums (where his handle is Lace Sensor). Not the easiest project, but if I can do it . . .

The PM7 is super rad but I wouldn't call it particularly warm. The boss bf-2 does a good rotary sound but it's still relatively hifi. RRR has a fantastic rotary emulation but has no controls really, so it's a bit take it or leave it. This is not what you want to hear but I ilke the cosmi 100% wet for nice rotary sounds. The clock lets you dial in the depth and then you just wind down the treble to taste.

I don't know how to describe it, but I really dig mine too. I especially like more subtle sounds with it, but I think I like the range of speeds more than anything else. I do really like the sound of chorus and vibrato, although i haven't found one with comparable speed capabilities.
Good Deal List: bearbeams, pena_55, sonidero, greyscales, ChetMagongalo, xchristophex, Monkey Boy, krautrocker, osbornkt

The way I see it there's different ways to get rotary type sounds (sometimes combined with tremolo):
Vibe: MG Music Mono Vibe
Rotary / Leslie Sim: Hughes & Kettner Tube Rotosphere
Phaser: VFE Enterprise V1
Flanger: Toadworks Barracuda
Chorus / Vibrato: Maxon or Ibanez Chorus pedals or Boss CE-1

Those are my personal favourites, Flanger can be especially great for this application I think but you need a special (full and throaty) sounding one, in my experience the A/DA, Boss, EHX and MXR style flangers don't quite fit the bill.
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee
