Re: Lastgasp Art Laboratories
I've spent the day with my new cyber psychic friend and I have found that the combination Reverb>CB>Memory loss kicks fucking ass. Won't be able to make a clip til next week though. Anyone else got tips for pairing?

CP on brink of "osc 1" oscillation into choked germanium fuzz. That's some of the sweetest sounds I know. Choppy dying gritty beats. Mmmmmm

It's all really dependent on what it is paired with.

I've done some of that stuff, it's awesome. It really has sweet spots where it just oscillates while you play, amazing. I realize I need more fuzzes though :/ Wanna get a mini, algal bloom, she fuzz and a Lal 46. And a few more. Why are there so many GAS inducing fuzzes

I've got a Moog EP-2 (which is the only one I've tried w/ the Misty Cave).

I need to get the cyber psychic out and mess with it some more in a different setting. I was using it as a preamp for the Metasonix TM-1, but that is gone.Brandsmannen wrote:I've done some of that stuff, it's awesome. The Gomorrah has really, really impressed me with how dynamic it is. Overtone mode is amazing. I think it is a nice compliment to the 46 in terms of having two, solid fuzzes on the board (though, I don't think the 46 stacks that well).
Same here and it works ok, but Hirofumi recommends the EV-5.Chankgeez wrote:I've got a Moog EP-2 (which is the only one I've tried w/ the Misty Cave).
Can't wait to finally run through all the LAL stuff with single coils! Been only using them with humbuckers. Should be fun.
Rattle Crow is been slowly becoming to one of my "always on the board" pedals. Too many pedals...

The cyber psychic is a great load of fun. I posted two clips of it in my demo thread here: http://www.ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=149&t=45746
Gotta get a good expression pedal to use it with though

Yeah, I've been meaning to pick up an EV-5 to try out.lordgalvar wrote:Same here and it works ok, but Hirofumi recommends the EV-5.Chankgeez wrote:I've got a Moog EP-2 (which is the only one I've tried w/ the Misty Cave).
The EP-2 works pretty well with the Cyber Psychic. The sweep is reversed from a normal way though. Toe down is bassy.Brandsmannen wrote:The cyber psychic is a great load of fun. I posted two clips of it in my demo thread here: http://www.ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=149&t=45746

Yes EV-5 works perfect with the Misty Cave. Love it. Although I'm finding myself using it less and less, which makes me sad. I need to stop that. It's silly. I like the crazy robot noises it makes. Well metallic noises really.

I switch my Source Audio Dual to an EV-5 and I'm more then happy!
It's a lot more board friendly.
