Looking on Amazon and it looks like I have to buy hook and loop together for almost all of them. 1"? Get narrower stuff fro cheaper and do two strips? Which do you use?
I always end up with way more loop side than I need.. my pedalboard has been covered for awhile.. but I'm always getting more pedals that need it.
Is there a cheaper place to get good pedal-side velcro?
Thanks in advance!

If you can read this, then I'm back?
If I don't go Prime (which I'd prefer but whatever) http://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Sticky-V ... 00FQ937NM/ is cheaper by a long shot. Dunno if it's real Velcro or 3M-brand though, which I've found sometimes makes a difference.

Nah but really, its pretty baffling that music retailers big or small do not sell velcro for pedals. You'd think pedaltrain would get on that... or fuckin planet waves.

Free you say. I paid over $100 dollars for some Velcro the other week it did come with a free Ape Blaster fuzz stuck to it though so it's not all bad news.

This...just because then you don't have to wait on shipping. I'm also weird and did my board backwards from most...hooks on the board and fuzzy loops on the peds.

I'm considering getting dual lock. It's supposed to have glue that is less temperature sensitive. I hate my Velcro getting warm in the summer and the glue melts. I've never had a problem with pedals coming unstuck from the Velcro itself.

That’s quarter-assed at best.
I tend to buy the dollar general stuff lately which sucks but is close to my house
You should just find other uses for the fuzzy side
like coasters for under your furniture so it doesn't scratch your floors
or put velcro on your phone and then you put a fuzzy piece by your bed and one in your car and one in your wife's car (which she loves!)
Or you could give your kids fake sideburns and jank
or merkins for everyone

I buy it at a hardware store too. The glue that's on it by default sucks ass so I have to superglue the velcro strips to the bottoms of my pedals, but the velcro itself is REALLY strong. I tried ripping a Moogerfooger off my board today and that took a considerable amount of effort & some help from my drummer holding the board down. Luckily I don't switch the pedals on my board up often (usually I just end up using extras/pedals I'm auditioning next to the board on the floor) and at least I know my pedals won't fall off the board when in the case and stored sideways.
