The red one is an Epiphone/Legacy 4x12 and the one on top is a Lopo 2x12 by the looks of it. I'd never heard of Lopo before, but a quick Google search will tell you a bit.

In the meantime I have bought and sold a MIG50. It just didn't seem to have the same balls to it as the 100s do. I would have persisted with it and but it was a bit beat up and it smelled like cigarette smoke. As a non-smoker, that smell doesn't sit well with me, and I dont want it so n my house. I definitely don't want my other gear to absorb that smell either, so it's gone.

Who the fuck takes his/her amp out for a smoke anyway? I've received gear that reeked of smoke and I can't figure it out. With really old gear, maybe, but who smokes inside nowadays?

Haha, apparently. I'm a smoker, but I'd never do that shit to my amps. Same as with babies/small children actually. I never smoke near them either. your amps=your babies

I guess I should go take a picture of my old gig workhorse. It's a mig 100 I picked up for 200. Tons of Sentimental value becauseit was my first head and first and only tube amp. Was worked on by the guy that created the fuzzrite.

My old 100H is still in the ILF family, I believe Zander was restoring it to like-new for his personal studio. Would love to pick one up again someday, but the prices have only gone up and I don't need another head.

2004 prices. Haha. I would go down to the guitar store and look at the Sunn Sceptre, 200s, and model t they had there and would be angry I didn't have the 600 to 900 for one of those (which were high at the time). A dude that worked there (our bands played together) had "upgraded" to a kustom so he sold me this one. I was using a peavey and Randall combo in a weird parallel preamp thing. Sounded terrible. Gigged with the sovtek for like 4 years and the band ended and my amp is in the garage still. I should fire it up someday.

My friend traded his parker custom crazy guitar for a deal like that...haha

Let me pull it out when I get a minute (I think one of the fuse caps fell off because of the idiot I shared my studio with borrowed the fuse) and see what's up with it. That is the one thing my wife talked me out of flipping (oh, my LAL 46 too). I'm supposed to be demoing my kitchen right now.

Not exactly a "MIG" but our bassist just picked up this Bassov Bluesboy for something in the $300 range. Really stoked to have a Sovtek back on hand. He picked up an early v4 for even cheaper a week before that, which I'm also happy to have back on hand. The two amps I mentioned earlier in the thread came back into my life out of nowhere

^looks wicked dude! I used my regular MIG100 for bass at one gig and it sounded really good! Definitly better than my Sunn Beta Bass combo. Been meaning to sell the Beta Bass and buy a nice bass cab so I can use the Sovtek for bass more often.
