Fuck, I thought I spent enough money as is.
Clouds would be dope.

So guys, you can start playing around with mock set-ups here:

Im looking forward to Clouds and Tides the most myself. But this is just a whole other world being opened. So much more to explore.

Bah, I really need to figure out how the sizes work for these, still don't know much about the size and power stuff that is involved with this. I was thinking that both of them might be able to fit in one of these. Well, guess I'll just be switching them out whenever I can get the money for all of them.

I think this has got to be bigger than 20hp
I'm counting 46 by what they have loaded in there.
BUT I don't know shit about modular synths

Yeah, I'm not very talented at maths. 42hp should be correct.

This is what I think they had in it on the pictures:

This is an idea of what I would slap in there.
Deflector shield is a combination phaser, pitch shifter or ring mod.
Pip Slope can either act as an lfo or an envelope triggered by the input.
Erbeverb is the shit when it comes to reverb and the mangling thereof.
Disting is a digital swiss army knife that could act as lfo, envelope&pitch follower, ring modulator and echo among a bunch of other things of which I'm not so sure if they are useful in the context. Anyone ever tried wavefolding a guitar signal?

I also count 42hp.

To really get the most out of the modules you really do need some LFO ADSR combinations to automate and modulate variables on the effect its self.

As cool as some might be on their own its the interplay and automation where euro shines IMO.

There is no Moog in Eurorack. (Clones, of course, but not the OG shit.)
Then again, you could patch the fuck out of this with some Moogerfoogers! :animal:

I know, I've just sold almost all of my modules. And now here I am, going crazy over this.

42 hp is decent, that is enough to start to get really cool.

Ginkosythese SampleSlicer would be fun with a Clouds and some modulation.

For people not familiar with eurorack : there are at laest two factors that might make some modules not compatible with this :

- module depth. This case seems pretty shallow (skiff-like in euro-speak), so deep modules might not fit. Most recent stuff is usually not very deep but it's always worth checking.

- power. Until the power supply specs are known (+5V or not, etc.), there's still some potential issues there. If the case has +5V, anything except some tubes-based modules should be ok. Metasonix stuff needs a lot of power for example, be sure to chec/ask before buying anything...

By the way, if you want feedback on potential 42 HP systems, post them (use modulargrid to get a picture of them). There are a few of us eurorack people around here...:)

What is a good small sequencer module? I have like 10-12hp left over after the Clouds and Tides modules.
