Whenever I see or hear talk about the Superego I think of that clip. Amazing.

I really like stacking reverbs in the loop. I have combined a shimverb and a cheap Behringer reverb on shimmer. The 5th up combined with the octave up made some awesome pad sounds. Bit crushers/sampler reducers sound super cool too

I've got a DOD Vibrothang in the loop at the moment. I think I'll add one of my iStomps too for reverb.

When you put reverb and delay in the loop all you are using that for is to thicken up the drone or is there something interesting that goes on that I'm missing?

It seems like modulation would be most interesting but everybody is in here talking about delay and reverb and I'm confused.

It does thicken and gives atmosphere but I was just playng around with delay in the loop and it really helped in conjunction with the gliss. On really slow gliss settings the sound shifts a lot but eventually "jumps" to the new sound and delay helpes it smear more, which I really like. It also takes away from the character of the gliss too, which I kind of like. Less obvious as to what's happening.

I sold my first Superego because I was dumb. I sold my second because I needed money. When I buy my third, I'm going to build a Repeat Percussion daughterboard and throw it inside, drilling holes in the side for a control or two.

Has anyone put a whammy into the effects loop? It'd be really cool to be able to make the drone go one octave higher/lower.

At the prices I got them both for it's only double, but if you think about it as 4 raptios in sequence.
