Wonder how they get the super-realistic warped vinyl effect? So subtle....

I would've loved to have seen the look on the face of someone who bought the pedal based on this sales pitch...And than used it for the first time, expecting to convincingly mimmick a susaphone or bass sax, or a "bell clear" horn

I mean when you're sitting around in '62 and jamming out and you stop and realize that all this song needs is a sweet Sousaphone track you couldn't just grab your Casio and knock it out so the Fuzz Tone was obviously your only choice...

Bassman needs some autotune on top of that.

In the 1950s the rockers had to get on their knuckleheads and head to the local university and steal a sousaphone from the band geeks. Then they combed their hair. Fuzz gave those urchins time to smoke the dope which is how you hear the bass sax.

I guess we have to remember there was a time when instruments were more prevalent in houses. Organs always had those silly sliders listed as instruments they sounded nothing like their namesakes. I think it was more about register than timbre when they were playing sheet music and stuff. I don't know though....just everybody had an organ or piano when I was growing up. Don't see that anymore.
