Orange Crush 35

Post by Ghost Hip »

We may have already addressed this but... The Orange Crush 35. holy shit. Its so good. My new bassists practice space is on the third floor, and carrying two Classic 50s up two flights is no fun. So my bandmate and I bought practice amps. He got the Mustang 40W and I the 35W Crush... and guys I felt so bad because the Crush slayed the Mustang. He was diming the pre and master volume on his and my Crush was on half volume and I had to turn down.

We just got them so maybe there is something to the mustang we haven't figured out yet, but damn, I am already in love with the Crush. Dat classic orange voicing without breaking my back. :joy:

That is flipping awesome
I may have to check one out, I am always looking for lightweight good sounding amps

Mustang is very relative to patch etc volume as well. That said, the 40W one is a baseline cheapie, I'd start with the 1x12 and go from there.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

Is this the one with a handful of built in effects? Or I think there is one that is more like the crush pro style

Figured as much. I believe he had the patches turned off and was just running through the bassman or twin setting.

Mine just has reverb and a built in tuner.
