I'm going to load it with the Crescendo clone (when it gets here) in my halfback cab. Quite stoked about getting these speakers both for a pretty damn good price. Shit, the Studio 12L the Crescendo clone is based off goes for $289 new, and the new Crescendos were projected to street for over $300. I got both of these together for WAY less than that.
First impression was that it is a warm, smooth, and clear sounding speaker. Not too much highs, not too much lows, nice broad mid focused voice. I hear some similarity with my AXA12, but none of that alnico compression and the highs aren't as silky smooth. It has midrange grind and richness, and the treble is not overly bright but it sounds like it should cut nicely. Maybe like a smoother V30. The upper mids are there, but it's not as hard/barky.
