Sounds alot like my muff journey. So far I've been through quite a few of them. The only one I really miss is the efe dope priest that went in a partial trade for an emperor cab. The twosome was nice but traded it for an op amp muff.

Loving the ic muff so far, cuts in a mix with minimal tweaking, but may lack the gain you're looking for. I fix that with a boost in front to tighten things up and get my chug on.

I also prefer blunderbuss over musket. Blunderbuss would probably be my fav modded muff type of the bunch.

TAFM is always a good choice, even though its no muff. Mine will never leave me.

But I gotta say, the ECT is the most massive sounding muff/fuzz/dirt pedal/whatever that I've ever heard. I would totally go this route, especially if you want to weaponize your rig.
