Fender Squier bass bridge help! Project complete! :-)

Post by KaosCill8r »

I recently purchased a Squier VM Jaguar bass. It has a 5 hole bridge currently installed but I want to fit it with a high-mass Bridge. The bridge I'm looking at buying for it suits a Fender 5 hole bridge spacing. My question is are the hole spacings the same for Fender and their Squier branded basses? I don't really want to have to piss fart around to fit the replacement bridge. I only want to have to screw it on, restring and reset the saddle hight and intonation. :idk:

I have a 74 fender bridge on a 2000something shitty blue squire pbass body, the holes match up good, the bass it came off of has a bassass II now which also the holes lined up on as well.

Just fitted the new hi-mass bridge on the bass. Holes lined up perfectly. Also added a shim tho the neck to tilt it back a bees dick. Just needs to be restrung and set up and it will be ready to go. :yay: Will do the restring and setup later. When I get up. Need to hit the sack. Starting to see double. Thanks again for the advice Mudfuzz.
