Who's trusted? Hook me up. I'm left handed, want a Mustang, & don't want to have anything to do with trashbag cobain. END MY AGONY, ILF.

As long as the seller has positive feedback only I buy from them. Remember to check Ishibashi too.

Also, check digimart.net, tons of shops put what they have for sale on this website, both new and secondhand. If there's something you like, check if the shop ships worldwide. Some do, you just have to ask.
Here's a link to digimart's "mustang-type guitars" :

And here's another one with the added "LH" keyword :

"S" next to the price means new, the other letters tell you if it's in good shape or not. It's Japan though, people really take good care of their stuff here usually. A/A+ means mint or almost, B/B+ mean it's fully functional with maybe a few dings here and there (but nothing outrageous).

Moustache, cool thread man.
I actually came here to hijack it and ask the same question but with old Ibanez's.
On the hunt for a PF-300/400 or an olive green IC400. Holy grails for me.

what oscillateur said, basically. generally the ebay dudes are really reliable and there's nothing to worry about but it will be way more expensive there because sellers are paying silly high fees and put stuff there because they know that foreigners who can't navigate japanese sites will pay a lot more on ebay.
Ishibashi U-Box is great and easy to use (they have english-speaking staff who you can ask questions) but there will be a lot more variety on digimart cos you get all the odd things from smaller second hand stores popping up too. I dunno what the deal is for new fenders, what i heard from ishibashi was that they only ship used guitars overseas, i dunno how strict that is overall. lefty stangs pop up in good used condition for like 60,000円 or less pretty often though which is wayyy less than 1000USD. $135 is about right for shipping either way.

Anyone here possibly know where to find one of those Fender Jaguar Deluxe basses left handed? I've looked all over and I can only find stuff sold out. Super pissed those were only released in Japan. I feel like being left handed is curse. Language barrier isn't an issue for me either, but I haven't been able to find one.

If you want to find an instrument that was only released in Japan, check digimart regularly. You can search by keywords or category, and really lots of shops register their stuff there. I got my Mustang bass a few years ago for less than 45k yens (delivered next day to Tokyo) and found my Jaguar from there too for a good price, actually in a shop near Tokyo so I picked it up directly. In both cases I knew what I wanted, checked every day for a few weeks and got good deals.
So, check regularly and contact the shops. You can probably navigate the website using google translate, btw.
Obviously, if Ishibashi has what you want it's a good option too. It's a big music shops chain here, so they have lots of stock.

Thanks for all the replies, errybody!
I still wonder why Japan has so many lefties, though.
