Trade my super reverb for original 59dc and dano amp?

Post by jellyfishfuzz »

I went to buy this teisco from craigslist and it turned out this dude has a museum of vintage shit in his house. I was looking to buy this $60 teisco which was crap but he wants to trade my 68 super reverb for an original dano 59 dc and dano dm-25 piggyback amp. I love my super but damn that guitar plays amazing. Instant pipers at the gates tones. Interstellar heaven.
Oh what to do

Go for it.
You can buy a Super Reverb anytime. Although, '68 was a good year for Fender.

Think you're probably getting hosed.

The guitar is the value in that trade, the amp...not so much so.

And it's much more of a niche sale item than the Fender.

Guys with a museum of vintage stuff usually know the value and don't come out behind.
