Feedback looper?

Post by Dexterecus »

Hey guys, I had an idea and I'm not sure how to explain it but here goes:

I play bass in a black/death metal band and I'd like to incorporate some noise and soundscapes in the music. I have a bunch of effect pedals (fuzz, distortion, delay, pitch shifter, ...) and I was think of getting a feedback loop pedal in the chain as well. So I can use the pedals when playing normally and then kick in the feedback looper when I want chaotic blasts of noise. Is this possible like this or are the effects always in the loop and not possible to play them normally then?
You just need a passive bass, a tube amp, and a metric ton of marijuana and Sabbath worship.

Yeah that's possible. Check out the Saturnworks website. They have a deluxe true bypass looper with a momentary feedback switch. Also has a blend control, a master volume control and a toggle to switch the feedback in permanently bypassing the momentary switch. Very versatile and well constructed. I have one. Cost me about $70.00 or there abouts.
