Resident Evil HD is super good. It still has some really campy voice acting, I can see myself actually finishing it. Having recently finished RE4 and Revelations, Resident Evil is pretty much where I want to be.
You need a controller though.

You see it too clearly through emulators or whatever, it needs the dithering.
Yeah, you have to mess with the emulator settings.
On THAT note, I had no idea that an HD remake of Resident Evil happened. I might have to acquire that one. I was late to the video game scene, and a PS1 was my first actual system. The Resident Evil games were my first games.

Edit: incidentally, if someone knows where I can get a copy of Resident Evil HD that's not steam, let me know.

I'm still bitter about the game, but i'd love an excuse to play it again.

Pretty sure it's still installed...
No way I'm buying the expansion though.

Sure man. $40 is a worthy investment for something I'll enjoy and something that is as competitively focused as LoL or DOTA. There learning curve isn't as steep as far as I can tell.
I've invested more into far less worthy endeavors.

I've been binge gaming A Link to the Past these last few days. I might be biased as a huge Zelda-fan, but this is one of the best games I've ever played. Great sense of adventure, good gameplay, lovely music, and I get to slay shit.

I've played atleast 10 Zelda titles, never finished any of them. I feel like i'm a lesser person for not being even slightly into Zelda.
Unrelated, where should I start with the Persona Series? I honestly like jRPGs, just never played those games. I have a Vita and a 3DS, so either one.
